My mom and I have recently switched "news locations" through Direct TV. We went from Baltimore location to Washington DC. Okay, I guess that's beside the point.
I switched on the 12 o'clock news today, and saw that Washington, DC is considering a tax increase for shoppers who prefer paper or plastic. What an AWSOME idea, especially considering the already high tax percentage in the district (10%) already. No one wants to pay another tax if it can be avoided.
Because The District has no representation, we have reason to believe that capitol hill is going to use the area as a "Testing circuit" and could become a federal law.
